Thank You to Our Outgoing Committee and Welcome to Our New Committee

On behalf of all the members of the Sunbury Metal Detecting Club, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing Committee Members for the time, effort and dedication they have given to the club.

A special thank you goes to Ken and Marion for their commitment and the many hours of hard work they have contributed while leading the SMDC, and to Cathy for her dedication and hard work as Treasurer.

Running a community club takes an enormous amount of work behind the scenes, much of it carried out voluntarily and often unnoticed. It is through the countless hours of unpaid work and genuine dedication of people like Ken, Marion and Cathy - along with the many committee members and volunteers who have served before them - that the Sunbury Metal Detecting Club has continued for more than 45 years.

Their contribution has helped make SMDC a place where members can come together, enjoy their favourite hobby, share their knowledge and experiences, and enjoy the friendship of like-minded people.

We would also like to congratulate Peter Yarr and the new Committee Members, as they take the reins of the Sunbury Metal Detecting Club.

We wish Peter and the new committee every success for the year ahead and look forward to supporting them as they continue the proud tradition of this incredible club.
